Cheers for all the tips regarding voltage/batteries etc. I have yet to come to that stage in the project. I also have a simple ex car RC set to fit to this unit. That will be the next stage. Right now it will trundle about on 3 AA's getting in the way of the steamers.  ;)

Almost finished the cosmetic exterior bits, few more details to add yet. Also want to add exterior & interior lighting.

So far after just over 24hrs of ownership I think it's looking a tad better than as arrived..

Whilst the close up pics prove I am terrible at painting i still find it acceptable for my needs..

Todays driver approves of having a heated cab to work in (Ok so I havent actually done the inside yet, but you get the idea). Frosty morning railbus action..
