Look forward to seeing the finished result (it just so happens i'll be going on holiday to Penryndeidraeth at the begining of August, William knows why

) Good luck with the exams everyone whose doing them, im doing my A levels as well
BTW Gn15 is G scale on 16.5mm gauge track to represent 15 inch gauge

The final train ran across the PECO/Mamod track convertor piece today and marked the end of an era of terrible de-railments on the Seibiant Hill Railway. It is said that a tear was to be seen in the general manager's eye as the train hauled by visiting Accucraft Baguley-Drewery de-railed for the final time.

So I spent this evening carfully lifting the track on 'Cornel Ty Newydd' and at 'Penrhyndeudraeth Junction', due to the track having batons along the bottom of the sleepers to strengthen the Tenmille track, I have made a start on planeing down a section of wood for the 'Ski Slope' transition from PECO to Tenmille will be made.

A slight rise in gradient shall we say, you shall have to wait and see!

Along with this work I hope to install a large slate cutting, we shall have to wait and see if this plan'll work out!

Look forward to seeing the developments, although no tear was shed here when news came through of the removal of that dogy joint, I think most things I brought down with me in April fell off there at some point!

Here we have it!

The transition from PECO to Tenmille, using various pieces of wood, I've created a steep bu short gradient for the trasition. The first length of Tenmille was also screwed down, and tomorrow I hope to finish 'Cornel Ty Newydd' and install the shed point.

Layed another short panel and the point this evening, this required a large amount of block re-alignment.

Haven't mesured it yet, but it's mamod radius give or take a few mm.

Re-layed the Penrhyndeudraeth Siding today, this is where locos are stored when not hauling trains, it use to be a yard with two sidings, but due to clearences I never used both of them also the longer radius points won't allow for it.

Couldn't resist posing a couple of locos for an 'On Shed' shot, look at my new avatar for another photo I took.
