Presumably a kit in MDF would be a muddy brown.

Interested. I do tend to agree with Narrow Minded that something different from what's commercially available elsewhere would be nice. Quite what that would be I'm not so sure. (I'd love a classic Huddy Hunslet like the one JD Models used to do years ago.)

Michael, perhaps it would be feasible, if the axle diameter was right, for those who wanted to fit the IP Eng chain-and-sprockets kit for 4 wheel drive?

The axles I use are 3mm. Not sure what the IP sprocket ID is.

The chassis I'm working on currently is inside framed so there would not be room for chain drive on that.

IP axle are 1/8".

How about WHR (P)'s Ruston, 'Glaslyn'...

Would be quite simple to do, detail is in the painting. Option to fit an IP budget chassis would be cool.
