Iv finally gotten back to the MAKE-IT-UP-AS-I-GO-ALONG locomotive project.
The parts Iv already done.
Iv found a good flue pipe and chimney cap, the pipe is from 1 of those cheap solar power garden lights you stick in the lawn and the cap is a mamod add-on. by shear luck its a perfect fit. into the pipe.
a pair of cowcatchers I bought from RH for no particular reason a while back.
they just fit over the couplings and leave a nice gap for the multihights slots
all these parts that I found lying around the workshop are perfect for the MAKE-IT-UP-AS-I-GO-ALONG loco.
and Iv found this piece of plastic tube that is perfect as the boiler
glued all the panels on, its starting to look like a little tram
then I found this little driver figure, hes american and looks like hes squating over a little toilet but hel do
while the glue dried on the panels I took a little break
thankfully Iv added a fashionable armchair and carpeting so taking a break is much more relaxing in the workshop than it used to be
putting me feet up
spot of TV
and a little refreshment
once the glue had dried and I was refreshed and rested I continued the building
Almost finished, its got sideplates now as well.
all it need is the cowcatchers
They couple up fine
The finished loco, all Iv got to do is paint it.
Maybe black ends and underside with a white roof...
