I did buy a pop rivet gun recently for this, I considered using steel angle so it would rust like the girder. Aluminium might be a better option but I’d probably have to paint to match the girder/ or paint everything a new colourOld Man Aaron wrote: Thu Jan 22, 2026 9:46 am What Drew said.
It'd be a bit of work, but what about pop-riveting aluminium strips to the steel beam? It would certainly bear any weather.
