Re: My new gardenrailway 16mm-SM 32
Hello Spaeker,
so far I have a Reely remote control from www.conrad.de
A 4-channel transmitter and 2 matching receivers, each, one for channel 1 +2, the other for channel 3 + 4. So I can control the diesel locomotive NS2 with channel 1 + 2 and the steam locomotive HF110C with channel 3 + 4 all components for the remote control of RC ships.
I will use the new remote control from Piko in the future, it's simple and inexpensive:
Piko 35040 - G R / C transmitter and receiver for locomotives.
Regards from Berlin
Michael

You're making excellent use of the space. I like the way the trains run across the window so those in the house can experience the railway as well.

That looks to be well thought out, and clever use of plastic rainwater pipe for the legs. I look forward to seeing how it develops.

Hallo,
thank you for your positive comments.Progress is slow because we are only in the garden on a few weekends.
Unfortunately, the track elements cannot remain set up all the time, but it's still a lot of fun to ride the train in the fresh air.
Greetings from near Berlin; Michael

Everything looks well engineered, and tidy. - Even though you are working.
Can you leave some of it up between sessions, or is access required at all other times?

Hallo Phil,
I have to dismantle the modules every time.
Setting up the train station takes about 30 minutes.I designed it so that I can attach the station to the shed, but also stand alone if I want to set it up somewhere else

The aluminum frames of the station modules come from aviary construction and were still cheap a few years ago. The green wooden panels are made of 100mm box plywood and are painted to be weatherproof

It is possible, to connect the "modules" see the 3. picture. The material ist plastic and weatherproof.Between the wooden blocks I glue Styrofoam.
I hope i can this year make it complete.

Hello Michael,
I am sorry I have only just found your thread.....
You have, are doing a fantastic job and what a brilliant idea for putting track down and then taking up again. I wish I had seen your thread before I went and made ours with heavy sleepers and only been able to have them at shin height..
.. I wouldn't then have to bend down and getting my aching back worse....
Anyway I love your loco build HF110C, it's superb and looks just perfect in the black. One thing though Michael, have you tried any long coaches or bogies around the curves yet, I was wondering because of the overhang. I like the way you have constructed the track with those lawn edging and also the curved wood, really simple idea and strong too it would seem.
Looking forward to more photos and updates and maybe a video at some point. I am now going to keep your thread bookmarked so it will come up with any updates first.
Enjoy your time with the line and happy running.

Hallo Rod,
thanks for your comment. The longest coaches is approximately 40 cm without problemes in curves.
I have little time to make new Moduls. The Garden ist not in Berlin and we must drive 44 Km .
In the Garden we have internet only with my smartphone.
Regards from Berlin
