Now, if we produced a book between us, that would be something - you could do a chapter on the trackbed Andrew, Dwayne could do one on track, Hydrostatic Dazza on scratchbuilding steam locos, Peter Butler on plasticard structures, Tom on couplings and steam slow running, LNR on realism, Greg on electronics, etc etc etc........

Yes, but not altogether surprising. After all we have a common interest, enjoy our hobby and are keen to help and promote it. Even if we do things differently or in our own way.

Hi Mikael, I am a newbie like you. like everyone says this forum and the 16mm association is the best for information. Best piece of advice I had was from Peter Butler of this forum who said Don't rush and start building, have a look around the forum and 16mm association magazines for different ideas that will suit you. I am now addicted to my garden railway and can find any information on this forum. Welcome Aboard
