Electrical fault...

Post by JMORG » Thu Mar 13, 2014 5:33 pm

Hi all,
I've recently done a bench test with my C2B radio speed controller. Connected up the battery, motor and reciever. Turned all on and it all worked great!
However, when i reconnected it all, no life whatsoever... :(
Battery is fine and so it the motor, but I do not know about the reciever or the controller itself.
Has anybody had any prior problems and can anybody recommend anything? :(

The bits C2B supply are Mtroniks...

Can you list exactly what you have installed?

Hi,
I have in circuit:
Battery (12V output)
Fuse
Mtronics controller (comes with circuit-breaking switch) with receiver
motor (12V-24V, works fine) comes our and back into controller
In that order ( + to - )
I'm not the brightest with electronics (personally a hardware bloke) so much appriciated :D

When you say controller do you mean this?

http://www.mtroniks.net/details1.asp/Pr ... d5msdt.htm

That links contains a wiring diagram so check this as well.

That is a sound generator, not the speed controller. I'm pretty sure he means this:

I have 2 of these and both work fine.
