Hi everyone
After been inspired by every ones scratchbuilds on here i'm starting my own, Pullman 'Bodysgallen'. I'm hopefully starting tonoght.

I have started and for the last 30mins or more i hve cut the floor. A picture can be found here

The indents are for the doorways. It is also very long at 67cm.

)Good luck with this, I certainly wouldn't be brave enough to try building one of these (and it wouldn't fit my line!

I fancy a go of the WHR observation coach with the rounded windows, but like ratty it wouldn't fit in with my line. Also I should really finish some other projects first!

Thanks for the confidence. Might end up be more of a show piece than 'working' carriage since i don't know if it will go round my corners (have'nt built my line yet). One think i have noticed that makes it easier for me though is that the roof is flat with it getting larger towards the center. So i can model a flat roof and mould the 'lump'.
Also why not build an FR/WHR observation coach and shorten it?

Today I have started the doors, creating a tempalte to get the curved window the same on all of 'em.
Hopefully i will be able to take some pics soon.

One door done woooooop. The curved window isn't perfect but I think it will do. See a pic of it at

So so far I have:
-One end with one window cut out.
-Floor, all finished
-2 doors with curved windows cut out

Sorry to bring up such an old topic. Did this model get finished in the end? Where did you get your drawings to build the model from?

Never got finished, was a bit optimistic really (although parts did get cut!), but I still plan a pullman style coach in the futture. Didn't work from drawings, more 'guestimated'.
