scrap yard iv seen a few other people have rusty engines etc on there line so over Christmas I bought off e bay a very rusty mamod it was for spares or repairs on e bay I looked a bit of a state and was not salvageable so it was perfect for this.i cut the wheels off and added it to part of my line near the water tower and old site hut im going to add some old cars etc eventually and may add a crane .hopefully it will rust a lot more and get overgrown I plan to add some fence out off bake been cans to look like corrugated iron

Looks good as a diorama, BUT its a pity you say its not salvageable....parts abound around and it could look dilapidated and still power machinery

From what I see of LR Defenders, they have more dents than rust on the body panels. Besides the body panels are aluminium. If you want to get really accurate you could rust the chassis so bad it is hanging on.

yes thay are alli im going to dirty it up a bit and make it less shiny .I could rusty the chassis too
