A day out

Post by RylstonLight » Tue Oct 29, 2013 5:57 pm

This afternoon I took at trip into the dales to visit the Rylston Light Railway, and was lucky enough to see the last train of the day.

I didn't expect it to be running on a weekday at this time of year.

You know, if I wasn't familiar with the cab layout of 16mm locomotives, I would have thought that was full-size, other than the fact that I can see it's a Roundhouse "Jack". Until I noticed that it was, I thought you were posting a picture of your visit to a real railway! The lighting is perfect. It doesn't look like a model at all.
