Curve diameter for HGLW ?

Does anyone could tell me the best curve diameter for HGLW locos and rolling stock?
Actually, I use 1200mm curves (Piko 45mm track) but it seems too tight for this kind of stuff. Thanks for your advices.

Interesting thought! Running rad1 curves on both LGB and Piko 45mm and across Rad1 points presents no problem here at all. But that's on a raised and dead level track with staggered joints. - However running these little locos on 32mm Tenmile bullnose brass track around a minimum curve hauling a rake of wagons is a completely different animal and does not do quite so well. A curve of 27" is about as tight as I would go. Wheel flanges play a great part in quality of running so I might ring some changes as an experiment.

Chris(Bandit), I think your method of joining the HGLW rolling stock together with a short coupling pin is compounding your curve problem. A standard 3 link coupling chain fitted between the buffer hooks would allow more flexibility for running around tighter curves.

sstjc, The wheelbase of the HGLW loco is smaller than the Mamod/MSS ones so it should easy travel around Mamod/MSS 2' 6" radius curves. However Chris (Bandit) has reported a problem with a different wheel back to back measurement in 45mm gauge. The shape & thickness of the wheel flanges would also be a factor.

they go round sharper than mms curves....if you get a coach either a big weight under the floor is needed or fit bogies..and 3 link chains
