In fact a little look at your engine it has only one pipe into the chimney if thats the case it is an early TE1A made in 1967 9for one year only)...see this great guide I found... and scroll down

If you look at the 2nd photo at the bottom of Page 1 you can clearly see 3 holes in the cylinder back face (with the top one open) and there is a 2nd hole in the chimney. So the 2nd pipe to the chimney is missing making it a reversing TE1A (from 1968)?
