I'm very impressed with the skills that others have when making models out of Plastikard.

That is a stunning model which you must be very proud of. Well Done!

Chris Cairns.

I think this looks fantastic! I love the detail on the chassis under the footplate. It gives just the right impression.

How much does it weigh and what are you expecting it to pull?

I haven't given much thought to either of these points.... The weight can be increased easily as there is so much free space under the bonnet. As for pulling power... I have a variety of stock that could be attached but long trains may not feature large in my running requirements. With the railway still under construction it is not one of the main features, rather a variety of train mixtures to give the individual items a chance to run.
If you have seen any of my scratch-built stock you might understand where I am going with this! 'MEGAERA' is the first prototype model I have built so there is no suitable stock for her to pull anyway. What I have is what she gets.

I've only just seen this thread but WOW, that is an amazing job you have done. A brilliant loco full of charm as well. Very nice work.
Tommy Dodd may have an ARS key but I have a TASS button & a Rope Ladder, just like pirates, except the TASS button bit.
