SWIFT TRAM KIT.

Post by swiftsixteen » Sun Mar 24, 2013 1:20 pm

Hi guys,

This is not a sales pitch, I'm just looking for some feedback on this new brass tram kit. As far as I know, nobody has ever made a kit quite like this, and to this level of detail. I just want to see what people think?

Thanks.
Rob.

Great level of detail Rob.  Is that to fit a RH Bertie?

Also, do you have any more info on your Lady Anne body kit and will it be suitable for coal fired locos?

Hi,

Yes, the Tram is to fit a RH bertie, but can be made to fit other chassis.

I will tell what the new body kit will be at the AGM.

Thanks,
Rob.

OK, I confess to being a sucker for a steam tram but this kit looks absolutly fantastic. I'll certainly be making a bee-line for your stall at Peterborough.

That is absolutely astonishing. The best tram I've ever seen. What a nice model.

That is lovely Rob, I'm not really a tram man myself but you can tell there is alot of work gone into that.

Ah Chocolate and Cream? Sounds really nice! Better then the anemic green that my Millie tram is in!
Mind you, the award for the ugliest livery goes to my NGG16 :D It does wind people up though which is fun

If the colour on your NGG16 is too much for you, and you feel you NEED too give it away, I can always find a home for it  :D

Having seen Robs new tram in the flesh, I must say it is possibly the best looking kit of anything ever made!
I wonder if it'll fit a Millie...

That really does look good. I'm guessing it won't fit a Millie due to the chassis being longer.

It may fit a Millie if it is the same width as Bertie and as long as Millie can be shortened somehow.

:D
