Krisebanen taking shape

Post by EiSvIn » Sun Feb 10, 2013 12:27 pm

I have finaly made a track plan that I think will work for my small garden. I just have 3x5 meters to use, and I want a circular track, so its not to much room to play with. It for livesteam, and the smallest radius is just above 1 meter.

The main area is build of stone, and a little elevatet from the grass, about 30 cm. Not much, and probably not the best working hight, but any higher would not look good I think. One viaduct is made from bricks, the other wood.

Any suggestions for improvements while I wait for the snow to leave?

"Krisebanen" = "Crisis Railway". Something to do with age? :-)

How far is between the tracks at the station? You should also try fitting switches to track to learn how much curve you in fact realistiacally can use. I experienced that there is a difference between what you draw, and what you in fact can lay.
