By the look of the waiting points clamp it is going to be a big one!

Seriously though, your Quarry Twins are looking very fine. Nice to see similar yet different looking locomotives. Glad the steam test went well.

Looking superb as ever mate, lovely pics of the line & the mamody things are looking lovely. Remember not to sell them this time as you know once you own a mamod you can never rid yourself of them.. :twisted:
Tommy Dodd may have an ARS key but I have a TASS button & a Rope Ladder, just like pirates, except the TASS button bit.

Tell me about it :evil:
Twice in the past I've gone through the pain of fettling while wanting to throw it at the wall and then sold 'em as soon as they ran OK :roll:
This time, they're "keepers"! (For now :lol:)

And James, I can tell you've not been keeping up with this thread :?, no - OGWEN became MARY (while CODNOR CASTLE took OGWENs name after the signalbox was fitted with a CODNOR CASTLE plate - that'll teach you to not pay attention! 8))

Just about finished one of Santa's presents ;)

A Lineside Delights water tower, with just the ladder to paint now before it goes here;

The quarry running shed, but not today - we have SNOW! 8)

On the way back indoors to load up the gear for a trip to Butterley I grabbed these progress shots.

The new turnout

onto the new site for Brinsley Lodge

and the top left corner of this overview shows the much "cleaner" layout resulting at Westwood.

Now, off to boil some water! :D

We have had nothing in the shape of snow. Your railway looks really nice in the snow Greg.

The snow somehow enhances the "rural" look of the scenery. There's something about your little town scenes that makes me feel a "false nostalgia" for bucolic early 20th century England even though of course I wasn't around then. Good work. If I was three and a half inches tall I would live in your little town. If there were three inch tall women there, that is.

Oh, but there ARE! ;)

And just in case you've wondered how to get there;

A meeting was held on site today, but freezing conditions have suspended the work at Brinsley Lodge. :cry:

I aspire to make a garden railway one day that will look half as good as this one

Indeed; it makes me wish I was a little smaller so I could live there.
