How large is Wyvern next to the SLs?

theres not much difference Wyvern is a buffer length longer but the same height as the standard SLs

Actually, the spoke wheels had the Mamod style bearings even in the PPS days, here you go thanks to the way-back machine:

Strange that the plain steel wheels had the modified bearings (possibly old IP Eng stock?). Wonder why he went back to the Mamod style bearings? Probably customer feedback that those modified bearings take a lot more time to get aligned properly for free running.

And I see the rust has already started on those plain steel wheels!!

Bet the plain steel one would fit well. I like to drill holes in them to make them look better..Have a great break and rest one and all.
