Bought a Bertie

Post by Chris » Fri Aug 08, 2008 8:12 pm

Not exactly a bargain, but still.

I entered a bid and then went off on holiday. Got back today to find I got it for my highest bid amount.

Hope all is well when it arrives.

Oops!

It wouldn't been even less of a bargain if you had outbid me to win it though. I put my max bid down last Sunday.

There is a Millie finishing in a day or two.

I can't afford it (well I can, but probably should spend my money on something more sensible).

I love my two mamods!

I've been looking out for something non-mamod to add though, and a Bertie has been at the top of the list, so I probably bid too much.

I think you got a bargain!! A new one is £530.
Your're lucky I didn't bid again.

I've decided to go for the Millie instead.

Eric
The Millie isn't getting much bidding interest yet. You really might get a bargain! :D

I asked the seller of the Millie, and it doesn't have the pressure gauge or water top up fitted.

Yeah, Millies are nice, but I have a Edrig, and I prefer Bertie because it has internal firing.
