Coming along slowly. I've almost finished the bonnet and cab and now working on the chassis. I've decided to build it in modular form in that the bonnet and cab are seperate units that will bolt to the foot plate. Under the bonnet I've got a 12 volt dry cell battery with a Mtronics Viper ESC under the cab. The receiver will be in the cab under the dash board. Motor is a motor gearbox from MotionCo, mounted transverse between the wheels (Essel 25 mm) and driving both axles with a Delrin chain. Spacers for the frame are Essel again, 1/4" steel. This brute is going to be heavy. Weight restrictions may apply. I don't think that it will be happy on Faller track curves. First signs are not promising on points. When I can get photo's together I will post.
Lead me not into temptation, for I can find my own way.
