I really quite like it as it is, with the sloped top, it does give it more interest. Yes, count me in too as being interested at that price in one for the MPLR. Being so plain, at least I can 'tart' it up a bit!

I've been in Germany since 1/3 but my laser cutter is still in the UK. Don't have a firm date yet for when my family is moving over. It is unlikely I will be making any progress until July time. It also depends on my job - currently it looks like I will be working in Maastricht for the next year or so which mean I will only be home on weekends.

Time to revive the flatbed. Below is a picture of the new version. It is bigger than the orignal design so it looks better with the current selection of locos on the market. I will probably also enlargen the diesel loco I have on the drawing board.

Kits will be available from next week but production volume will be low until I have my workshop set up (hopefully in 2 weeks time). I have had steel wheels made for the kits. They are very easy to assemble so are suitable for children with a bit of adult supervision/help.

Looks nice, shame you had to "bigulate" them like much of the other 16mm stock on the market.

The smaller version design is completed so I can offer both sizes. I prefer the smaller one myself but it looks too small behind Accucraft/Roundhouse locos. The bigger one has the advantage that is suitable for a 45mm guage version.

Well, things are not progressing as fast as I hoped they would. My new workshop (aka "The Container") is in place but there is still no power hooked up and the floorboards need to be replaced before I can move the laser in. Floor will be done this weekend and I should know more about power by then as well.

At last! First batch of flat bed kits will be completed today and I will start writing instructions tonight. Initially only 32mm gauge versions will be available but 45mm is in the works.

Loco body has been re-designed so now the chassis needs to be revised. I will be offering the chassis seperately as well
