Honestly, I hadn't seen a Merlin Mayflower at a steamup before at the begining of July. A month and a half later I've seen two! This is another ebay purchase for the Lynmouth and Barnacle Bay railway, who have already got through several locos thanks to Ebay (including making tidy profits on a couple of them.....!) It ran ok for a while, before becoming a failure due to obscure reasons known only to those the driver would tell!

Russell was out with the last train

End of the day steam
Many thanks to Pedro de Hooton of the Silverdale Light Railway for holding the steamup and laying on the magnificent spread of food, which I think everyone enjoyed very much!
