Here is an interesting loco from RH land. Built by Mike Dockery as running on our line on Saturday.

No it is completely scratch built.
Here is another early example of Mikes work, based on Merlin components. The loco is a genuine compound. The rear cylinders are the high pressure & the front are the larger low pressure.

I've always liked Yvette since seeing her picture as the centre-spread in Peter Dobson's book, plus I have a weakness for Mallets and compounds generally.
