Thanks for sharing that video with us Graham.

The Photobucket/YouTube seems to be a geographical issue, but I've been lucky & now get the videos to work in both formats, and post both for our worldwide audience to enjoy.

I'm surprised that Marvin does not seem to be self starting.

I must really make a start on my Garden Railway soon. Weeds are about 4' high again.

Chris it does self start if you let it build up steam long enough and wait for it to push out the residual water in the cylinders but when the camerea was on I was impatient

yep you should get into that garden mate but with you traveling up to aberdeen all the time I dont know how you find time to do all the restro work as well ;)

I think I've managed to secure my work cycle so I ended up with 8 days off to start with as they could not use me on day one (the last day off a 7 day cycle).

But I've yet to see it on tablets of stone to confirm exactly what I'm doing.

Considering taking a loop of track to run in one of my bedrooms in the flat at Aberdeen, but it needs re-decorating after water damage so may hold back on that for now.

Was hoping to have the Mike Chaney modified Mamod running very soon, but today's attempted run with some borrowed wobbly wheels shows me it needs more work first. Might try it as a meths burner first as I think the Merlin gas burner needs some new seals, etc. Now where did I post those scanned instructions?

I'm glad to see Marvin's running so well, Graham. That was some run at a good steady speed ! You've got a good engine there.
