What loco should Roundhouse/Accucraft do next?

Post by Matt » Fri Jul 11, 2008 9:38 am

I'd like to see a Kerr stuart tattoo.

I don't mind who does it. Roundhouse put more detail in, but Accucraft make them cheaper.

I'd like to see that. A Quarry Hunslet would be awesome too! It would be one of the manufacturers smallest locos lol!

Ye, I think that they only produce large locos because it is easier and cheaper like this, should they decide to build a Tattoo or Quarry Hunslet both small locos with comparitively low pulling power, due to build complexity would have quite a high price tag.

Personally I want to see Roundhouse do a nice England loco, Palmerston for me please :) .

Because DJB ones are very expensive as they're hand built by one man, failing that you have to machine the castings yourself, neither are they as simple to run as a Roundhouse loco. Why did roundhouse make an L&B loco or a Linda?????
