Bit anoying as I orderd one from Trackshack, which then altered to a black one when they had been anounced. Fair play to John it was no trouble to change the order but what Am I meant to do now? I know it sounds abit of a moan but it would be unfair on the great service provided by John if I know went to Accucraft to buy one instead. It would have helped if Accucraft had said this was in the pipeline at the begining.

And a lovely loco to fire! :D Ive known about a Lyd being produced for a while as Paul L mentioned something to me when I were firing for him on it, but I thought it had all ready been announced or people all ready knew about it, and neither did I know that that it would be limited to 100 either!

i along with others must have thought that the black Lew was as close as they were going to make a lyd.... so un like me they ordered a black lew...i would have done but was weighting to see what my cash flow was like closer to the time.. but now there is the loco i want a br black lyd and so few are going to be made, i had to put my name down for one.

As much as I like Lyd, I'll be sticking with my order for a Lew.

However when (from what I've heard it will be a case of when and not if) Yeo, Exe and Taw are produced I may just have to get them to complete the quintuple set (including Lyn) 8)

At this point I'm not even sure who's supposed to be buying it as a present for whom...
Well, now we know the buffer-stops work! (Heard at 2013 "Longest Day" solstice steamup)
