 I fear my idea has been copied
Nice one Pretoria, that does look like something nice and chunky and presumerbly 5 inch gauge. But I fear I'd need a few clues to have more then a wild stab in the dark, ie is it prototype or freelance? Definatly steam since the impression of the chimney can be made out under the rug
"What the hell is that?"
"It's a model icebreaker sir."
"It's a bit big isn't it?"
"It's a full scale model sir....."

Well done (so far) Lal. Yes, it's most absolutely prototype.

As a reward, have another taster:

Well done both.  Yes I am now a very happy chappy.  The tender is not on the photographs yet, but it is 2/3 the size of the engine !

The prize for guessing correctly is a drive round if we meet up somewhere -- To Lal, I am planning a trip to Cinderbarrow next year, and to Sir H, where are you based ?

Sorry the photos are not brilliant, but it was nearly dark when I got it home and out !

WOW! All I can say is a massive thank you! Whilst you are in the area I could try and sort out a footplate ride for you on the ratty if you would like? Also I can already safely say that Will would LOVE to see that loco at the Joys of Life!

What idiot would say no to an offer like that ? I'll let you know when I plan to go up with the NG6 -- but I am up in the Lakes fairly regularly due to my involvement with "Shamrock" on Windermere.
