steam up on the isle of wight

At the beginning of summer I went over to the island. I visited a couple of garden lines. This one belonged to a friend of my grandads and was very scenic and quite long considering it was in quite a small space. I took russell, the earl and maid marian over, however the earl wouldn't go round the curves on this particular line, which was unfortunate as i could have got some nice pictures. However here are the pics that i could take...

Wow. That is quite a railway. I had to double check the roundhouse works plate in the first one to be sure I was looking at a model.

thanks very much for the comments. I believe that the viaducts are the best examples i've seen and the line had endless photographing possibilities. I think the key is that it has been down a very long time, and therefore the line has had plenty of time to mature.

The real life weathering is the key the last photo looks so real. I must work out how to make my line fly.
