Mamod is it still for sale?

Post by -steves- » Thu Aug 11, 2011 3:36 pm

Are mamods still for sale in their seemingly new improved form?

like this one?

http://www.mamod.co.uk/product_view_det ... r%20Engine

or this one

Are they any good? Does any one know, has anyone tried them? Are they really still running and in stock and really at those prices with that spec??

I had a Mark I one - nothing up with it apart from the fact it was pug ugly!

See: http://www.mdlr.co.uk/loco17.html for my account.

The Mark II http://www.mamod.co.uk/product_view_det ... 0Mark%20II is much better looking and has a lubricator - go for it!

They must be about as we had one running on Rowlands Lodge at Fairbourne. Only problem was I missed it as I had gone for a brew at the time.
