New Garden Railway - Northumberland - Completed

Post by bluewater1150 » Fri Jun 17, 2011 9:28 pm

Sorry I've not been able to post the latest pictures - I managed to get the railway finished a few weeks ago and it's not giving me any problems - so far... The 6" x 2" scandinavian tanalised wood, which I've also soaked in cuprinol, is standing up well to the rain/sun - with no distortion. The tree trunk piers on the 'high girders' section are also pretty solid. You can tell I spend my first 20 years beside the Silvery Tay...
I am having an inaugural steam up with some members of the 16mm NGM local Northumbria Group, on the longest day. The forecast is terrible - so fingers crossed.
