WOW! They have certainly scrubbed up well. Very nice work & thats a lovely rake you have now.
Tommy Dodd may have an ARS key but I have a TASS button & a Rope Ladder, just like pirates, except the TASS button bit.

We went to the Llanfair show on saturday and bought this for £45 from the Imp stand, originally it had been priced at £95, it all works well, mind you I've noticed that the dummy axle boxes and one louvered side panel are upsidedown  also it stands on 3 wheels so slight axle hole mod needed

Nice private owner wagon - I'd looked at it a couple of times myself to re-gauge. Good buy :D

I've bought 4 of his wagons, two open and two covered, and they are quite well made actually, and I reckon they are a bargain considering the price of a kit!

£130 for 4 four-wheel coaches and a matching guards van painted and ready to run, modified Mamod couplings so they can hook up to any stock ?

On avergae, £26 for each r-t-r vehicles. I think I've done okay - or am I stupid/ noobish?

There's also a semi-matching bogie coach but that's already on £33.50. I'm disappointed but at this moment in time am absolutly pushed for cash [being unemployed helps little!]

Still, I am grateful I have secured the matching five. Someone put £30 on one!!

ADDENDUM: £42 for a Mamod coach?! Cor blimeyness then...!

So it was you   I thought I was getting one of the normal ones and the brake for about £20 each until some-one shot a bid in for £2 more in the last few seconds

I must admit I am rather jealous

Ah ha, so it was you that I did battle with! :)

Hmm.

I think a system or an Ebay subforum where we can sort out who buys what or agreements/politico can be civilly sorted like on the Mamod forums. To avoid conflicts of interest and so forth?

Oh well, maybe another time

An area of the forum where we can call dibs on ebay items between us, sounds good ;)

Exactly. Like on the Mamod forums. They have topics sticked for specific brands like Wilesco, Mamod, Fleischmann and so forth.

Then if someone says "I'm going after it" and has definitely put an Ebay bid on, most users then treat it like a gentleman's agreement and decide to allow it. It's been very helpful when I've gone Mamod loco shopping and ensured I got a semi-clear road.

Not sure what happens if two equally-dead-set individuals see an item however...:/
