If you save all the money you would've spent on ciggies, you'll soon have enough for a loco or a kit or three!!

GardenGorton gave up drink, and now he's got a whole fleet of coal fired beasts! Maybe I should give up eating food?

Nice find with the foil packets, ingenious!

I'm not sure what I should give up to get more money. I myself have started smoking but I'm not full on, just when life has grabbed me by the curly wurlies. Mind you, I just need to send off my EMA form then I'll get £30 a week for being at school

Give up now or smoking will take your money and your health.

To cure stress try this:

close your eyes
imagine you are in a forest glade next to a beautiful babbling brook. Think of the peace and tranquillity of the scene then imagine opening you eyes to see the face person who caused you stress as you hold them below the surface of the brook.

Works for me

a trip to the local firing range does me :D i pretend the targets are what ever has ticked me off  although it does't help when your rifle jams up solid and has to go to an armourer to be fixed (which as it turns out is quite expensive....). A day spend firing or driving on the Severn valley or working at my local railway centre is also good :D

Im well happy Im now into my sixth week of stopping and the benefits are tremendous I feel fitter, my senses of smell and taste are enhanced and yes the monies wasted are going into my modelling. I just need to loose a bit of weight but that will come. So to all you smokers out there if you wanna kick the habit it is possible I didnt think I could. But YES YOU CAN!

Congratulations on quitting the ciggies, it will save you a heck of a lot of money, and you already know what to spend it on ;)

I find that the Graden Railway is my great stress reliever. Nothing like watching the trains trundle by, or tinkering about getting something just right to take my mind off work.

Cheers,
Peter in AZ
