Binnie/Hudson Rugga chassis creations.
Lately I've become fond of these little kits for Rugga style chassis, seem to end up making all sorts of stuff with them. They look a bit daft behind an Edrig but seem ok behind my Jessie.
So I was wondering what other people have made with the chassis kits? Anyone want to show your creations here?
Mine are all for my lines P-Way dept.
As well as standard Rugga hoppers my P-Way lot get to mess about with this lot as well.
Oil wagon with point grease & flange lube (for greasepots!).
This is still WIP & will become a crew vehicle & brake vehicle.
A mechanical rail dropping wagon for short rail lengths (Well I think thats what was in my head when I did it )
A tool wagon with workbench. Made out of Virgin Trains coffee stirrers. Normally have plastic ones so got well excited when there were boxes of wooden ones today...
So what wierd &/or wonderful creations has anyone else made?

Not everythings listed on his website though.
Tommy Dodd may have an ARS key but I have a TASS button & a Rope Ladder, just like pirates, except the TASS button bit.
The Back 2 Bay 6 tools are really nice little bits, I've got a few of them on the workbench in my loco shed, here usually carries a good stock of them at shows as wellPendo Pilot wrote:There all from back to bay 6, really handy as he's just down the road from me.TonyW wrote:Where did you get the tools, vice and oil drums?

"It's a model icebreaker sir."
"It's a bit big isn't it?"
"It's a full scale model sir....."

I have made mine into slate waggons. As I run on 45mm i found it hard to find any 45mm slate wagon kits, so I made my own and think they have a good charm to them.
Ill post a picture if i find a suitable one. by the way, love the waggons looks like a great little train. Oh and i need to get me some of them tools for my engine shed! good job its stoneleigh verrrrry soon

There's a range of novelty pencil sharpeners in a kind of "antique bronze" finish - all manner of things from a washing mangle, cash register, American log burner style loco to a VW Beetle (I got one of them!)any idea where I can get a cement mixer from about a 16mm scale 1/19
They're all different scales and sizes, but the cement mixer is about right.
Scour the "tourist trap" shops or eBay - last time I looked a chap in the states was selling some!
