Oh. well, my garden is 4 metres by 4 metres, so a ride on railway is out of the question-untill we move to a vicarige which will hopefully have a garden big enough to build a 2 foot gauge railway :D .

Yeah, my mum is currently training to be a vicar at durham university, and will be getting her first parish in about 1 1/2 years. I'm hoping that the parish that we get sent to has a victorian vicarage. These have huge gardens, a point proven by the late Rev Teddy Boston, who built 2 ride on railways at his vicarage. One was 5 inch gauge, the other was the 2 foot gauge 'Cadbery light Railway', which sadly closed down a few years ago after operation for over 40 years.

Thanks, but I don't think I'll be able to build a 2 foot gauge railway. I'll build a bigish 32mm line instead.

A great video Andy. Thanks for sharing that with us.

It was intereseting to see how much regulator you need to use some times, and how little the steam pressure drops when using the regulator. The advantage os a gas burner.
