Actually I used to have to do that when I drove trains for Arriva Trains Wales! Those 153's need glue & duct tape to keep moving. Superglue was also handy in 150's/158's & 175's as they seem to prefer repainting the outside rather than fix the inside.taliesin001 wrote: I will also be taking some superglue to the show, just in case anything comes off!
I'm sure that coach will be fine on show (unless you drop it...Please don't do that!)
Tommy Dodd may have an ARS key but I have a TASS button & a Rope Ladder, just like pirates, except the TASS button bit.

I would like to point out and warn future customers of the experience I had with Blackham transfers. I paid 80 quid for two sets of transfers for my FR stock I had to wait 12months for these I wasnt happy and was on the phone continuously demanding a better service all well and good the final product was reasonabe but not worth the money or the time waiting. DJB and GRS are better value and now with transfer paper on the market its easier enough to reproduce them oneself.

I do generally use GRS for my crests and usually just use blackham for the ones I can't get or make, such as the FR intertwinned monogram. although that is just because blackham's are quite expensive. It seems that alot of people have had bad experiences with him but before this I ordered from there many times and every order has been delivered with the normal timespan. I will just leave more time next time! In all fairness though I could have made these myself as they really aren't that complex.

Given it was a DJB boiler on an Accucraft chassis, that's kind of dissapointing. But winning the Rolling Stock Trophy is much more of an achivement.Mr. Bond of the DVLR wrote:I may just point out that I did not win the junior cup, a chap called BWLR Harry did with his coal fired steam loco "Captain Pugwash" I got highly commended in the junior category.
