While i think about it, the loco was built from a kit. The smokebox has the word OUTLINE writen on it but we have not been able to find any information about it. Could anybody shed a little light on the subject ?
Dan,

James: "Dan, can you use your hearing and tell me if that trains coming ?"

Outline did indeed make a FfR Blanche, I think it was the only steam outline loco they did. They wern't around for long, so I imagine it is quite rare. I think it will be made of resin, from around 2002 ish
Anyway your dad has made a great job of painting it
"What the hell is that?"
"It's a model icebreaker sir."
"It's a bit big isn't it?"
"It's a full scale model sir....."

outline supplied samee industrial diesel kits on the late 90's early 00's. this is one of their blanche kits. made from resin and plasticard. very well renowned for the cheap prices but good standard of model. their kits had a saltford models thing about them. althow saltford provided sheets of plasticard, whitemetal castings and the drawings. outline went of the scene when IP started their whitemetal kits. maybe ivan bought the rights to the models from them ????
