Friday afternoon at the SHR

Post by SillyBilly » Fri Jan 25, 2008 11:35 pm

Hello,
Today was another succesful day in the Seibiant Hill Railway's winter timetable. It also provided the workshop staff a chance to test the new balst pipe fitted to 'Isabelle' earlier this week, which was produced by a Northern Engineering firm.

I would, but:
a) I don't have enough stock that'll stay on the track behind it
b) Not got a long enough railway, I'm hoping to have it at the Llanberis Exhibition in Feburary, and hopfully that'll see it oprate larger trains :)

Alternitavley, I could see if it'd pull a 5in gauge waggon?

Ah bring it round here we'll get some wagons behind it. As for the 5 inch guage it probably would.
