The shelfs were always a temporary measure, but I am reluctant to remove the flowerbeds as they are old and just the right height. The soil is good so getting rid of it would be a waste. Also the walls to our garden and VERY old and removing the flowerbeds might disrupt the foundations leading to them falling over and costing alot of money- (Every thing is listed here) We have been advised by a professional not to do so so I wont!
I am however excited about moving the railway down to "ground" level. It is all easy as it is only on shelves and I will reuse the treated wood for allsorts of things. The Snape st station in my shed can be lowered by sawing the legs down a little and I can easily remake aldebough.
So YAY I will finally have a proper railway. Now the garden is mine I can start to remove the junk and find places to store other things.
