My Dad is currently building a "wild rose" from the keith bucklitch design. Does anybody have any pictures of the finished loco as one or two things dont seem to add up

Where did you get the designs from, and is there one for a cab?

There seem to be a few significant differences between Dave Watkins' "Wild Rose" and the "Wild Rose Too" design based on it that was serialised in SMT some years ago. Keith used a larger boiler than Dave, and seems to have found it necessary to include some large slots in the top of the water tank to let the fire burn properly which the original "Wild Rose" does not have. Would be interested to know which things are not adding up.

Thanks andy. Matt, the plans were sent to me by a good friend and there isn't a drawing for a cab. The main thing that didn't look right was the boiler, it looked far too long but now the smokebox is on it looks better, although we are still not too sure. The boiler is a standard pot type in Keiths drawings but Dave used one with fire tubes to draw the fire so the slots were not needed.

Thanks. I'm wanting to get a quarry hunslet, but one with a cab. I can buy a Finescale hunslet once I've got the funds.

Does anyone one know what types they make, other than the ones on the Chuffed2Bits Website?
