DJB Designs
A while ago I stumbled upon the DJB Engineering website and noticed that they do castings, drawings etc. for NG engines in O gauge. This intrigued me as I much prefer to build an engine than buy one (mainly because it is far much cheaper!). Anyway, I wondered if any of you have had experience with the designs and which would be the simplest to build. Palmerston seems to be the easiest, although looks can be deceiving....

Give DJB a call or send an email and ask, is my advice. I have found David Bailey to be very helpful. The only dealings I have had with DJB is when I ordered the DJB "Cedrig" coal fired boiler, I am very pleased with the service, and the workmanship was really top class.

If yo want a relativly cheap and easy to build kit i would have to recomend roundhouse. I hear there kits are very easy to build.
