Well, my Locolines Quarry Hunslike (one of the very first made lol) was looking in bit of a sorry state on the shelf in my workshop, so decided to tidy it up a bit...





The battery holders in a stupid place, but I can't put it elsewhere!

Unfortunately no, the motor is at the rear and I put weights in the front to balance it out. I suppose if I got the right battery holder, I could replace the weights with it.

heh that looks a hell of a lot better. You could do with some couplings on that - get a piece of wood, shape it so it has a slightly rounded profile on the front (like there are on real buffers), and stick a small nail or piece of wire whatever as a hook for chain

I did, I just super glued some wood on the rear buffer beam (as it's forward drive only). Mind you, I'll try & replace it with accucraft couplings so I could do double heading when I get a second loco
