Our wonderful forum

Post by Hancockshire » Sun Aug 09, 2009 11:17 pm

Right, what do you like most about this forum? I love this forum for... well, you guys. Though you live in everywhere apart from Scotland, You guys are the only people in the whole of creation that I get on well as you are funny, caring, imaginative, clever, intelligent & adore the same things as me. Some like Monty Python, some like Wallace & Gromit & some like Doctor who. But of course, we all love railways of all shapes & sizes. We love telling people how good their engines are & giving each other help to aid in their causes, We hate irritating things, We all hate the horrible bluebottle (apart from it's creator). But most importantly, we all love to try our best at what we do. If this forum didn't have any of what I just said, I would of given up ages ago but remember, good things don't last forever so let's try & get more people involved to keep it going.

Speaking for myself, I feel more at home here than in other forums,  for most of the reasons you listed. I am very thankful to Will for getting it together.
Uhm, shouldn't this be in the off topic section?
John.

Yup I do agree. However not being tinterneticly minded this is the first and only forum I am part of. Before this I thought that a threads came from bobbins and post from a tall red box at the end of our road! I do confess, however, that alot of the time I spend looking at bits and bobs here should be spent doing Coursework!!!!!!!!

Anyone could have set it up, but only the people who join make it what it is.

And it's owner, as bluebottle wasn't built by SLRmidge, he was created by a garden railwayer known locally as "little Alan". SLRmidge asked "little Alan" to build him a railcar, and he rejected "little Alans" first 2 offerings, before accepting bluebottle. Pitty, the other railcars were much better
"What the hell is that?"
"It's a model icebreaker sir."
"It's a bit big isn't it?"
"It's a full scale model sir....."
