Mensajes de error al acceder a recursos

Lately I have been experiencing difficulties navigating the forum. Almost systematically every time I access one of the options a message appears:

"General error

SQL ERROR [ mysqli ]

User gardenra_booyar already has more than 'max_user_connections' active connections [1203]

An sql error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact an administrator if this problem persists."

I suppose there is some problem.

I access pretty much exclusively from an Android mobile, using Google as the browser..

I rarely get in at my first try.

I wonder if the 'failed' attempt, uses a 'connection' which then sits until it either times-out, or is cleared in some other way? - If this is happening to others, it could quite rapidly 'exceed 1203 conections'?

I don't know, I could be over-thinking it, not knowing the system and how it works..

Phil, Our Host support have told us that we are getting hit by spamming type bots who are loading us with way more hits than our limit of 200 users at a time.
We are actively looking at how to deal with it but we can't spend serious money on paid-for professional help.
