After many years of isolation from the standard gauge network a short branch line has been laid into Heversham Station to form an exchange siding to take gravel from Thrang End Gravel Works, (Proprietor J. Dawes Esq) to the far flung distances of the British Empire.
In reality Ive laid a short length of Gauge 3 track (64mm) & bought a couple of suitable wagons off ebay to represent roughly standard gauge. Its amazing how wide the track looks !

Lovely stuff, on my line which would have connected real places all 3 of the main stations had main line connections! I would model these also but do not have the space! This also explains why the DVLR went bust so quickly and why no one seems to remember it!
