March 2025 Gallery - Entries Here BUMP!!

Post by philipy » Sat Dec 28, 2024 11:05 am

Greg has proposed Bridges as the next theme.
So your picture may be an underbridge or an overbridge ( or both!) but must include a railway line either crossing or being crossed by water, road, or rail.

There are some very scenic railways amongst the membership, so we expect some good pictures please. :D

Rules as always and entries will close at midnight UK time on 1st March 2025.

Think we'll need another vote to decide which is which!

I have gone with rail crossing rail.
My Billy passes under my friends two foot gauge line on his 16mm line.
Billy has come down the line from above the two foot. You can just about make out the track bed which is just next to the re-railing bar at the back of the Simplex at the base of the shrubs in the background. Billy is about to enter a righthand curve, then over a trestle bridge before entering the main station area.

Image

Here with both his Simplexs.

Going down from Loon Bridge. I've posted a similar picture in the Garden Railway Inspections thread, but not in the gallery (I don't think, anyway).

For my second entry, a bit of a joke:
