New Project
Re: New Project
Last ones....
I really enjoyed building this even if it took me ages to do. The frame is wood with the windows and the cold frame cut out by hand. The vegetables where made with FIMO, which is an oven baked soft paste, I did them in the Air fryer though, less heat and shorter time needed.

Re: New Project
That is excellent Rod, very well done. The finish on the woodwork is particularly good, looks exactly like weathered whitewash.
Glad the pipe fittings came in useful.
That's a handy tip re Fimo and the air fryer, I don't think I'd have thought of that, although I haven't used Fimo in a long while anyway.

Very good. I wish my tomato plants looked like that.

That really is a great job, very well done Rod.
Philip has already commented on the paintwork and I fully agree, after standing outside for some time paint peels that way.
The fittings add to the overall appearance without domineering. Well worth the time spent and teasing us trying to guess what it is.

The best things in life are free.... so why am I doing this?

FIMO in the air-fryers! - Love it..
Tickled my funny-bone, thank you, on this cold, slushy day.
Excellent build, by the way.
I especially approve of the rain-water harvesting.

Re: New Project
That does look good, Rod. Well worth the effort. As others have said, the weathered finish on the greenhouse is especially well done.
