Wow.... that was a close one!... Many thanks to all who voted for me and I also send commiserations to Aaron for trailing by just one vote. That is a wonderful structure Aaron and I would not have been disappointed to lose to you for that entry.
I will now try to think of a suitable subject for the next one.

It's rare to wish one had the opportunity to vote for two entries, but this was one such occasion. In the end it was the overall setting which tipped me to voting for Peter's entry.
Well done to all who took part!

Thanks for providing such an inspirational theme - you'll notice I've borrowed your idea for the next Gallery theme. I consulted an online glossary of railway terminology, and S was the section with the most entries (followed closely by C). So hopefully, plenty of scope for sensational, surprisingly successful snapping....?

Well done to all of you and thanks to all who entered and to those who bothered to vote.

However, I'm not too sure how we get out of this without having run-off vote, which seems a bit of a sledgehammer to crack a nut. Alternatively I could just give myself the casting vote, but I really don't want to do that.
Instead, if the three winners would all PM me with a theme for the next Gallery please, I'll make the choice of which one we go for. So if you three would let me have your proposals on or before New Years Day, please, that would be good.

Given that Greg was one of my biggest inspirations growing up modelling Australian 1:24 stuff I'm also happy to withdraw to the very nice shot of the iconic Sandstone Station with the 20 and CPH sitting in front capturing that very blue mountains flavour. Congrats Greg Looking forward to seeing what the next theme will be!

Wow, thanks for that. I never realised that anyone took notice of the SaTR. Coming from you, it is high praise. I always wait for your videos to pop up. And I was going to defer to your topic idea but I was too slow!
Now to think of a topic - not easy after the Christmas cheer.

I'm afraid that I have to report that the clear winner this quarter is...me!
I can't quite believe that it was such a clear vote, there are other bridge pictures that I personally thought more worthy, but thank you to those who did vote for my entry.
