'Steam Trains in your Garden' book back in print

Post by GTB »

The book 'Steam Trains in your Garden' by Brian Wilson has been out of print for a while now and s/h copies are hard to find.

For those looking for a copy, the book is now obtainable again from the web shop on Wilson Locomotives' new website.

This book is what got me into garden railways and building Fn3 live steam locos, as I bought a copy when it was first published a couple of years before I retired. A model modified from the Eric design in this book was my first fully scratchbuilt live steamer and I still use the book as a reference for fittings, etc. This link shows my version of Eric. https://gardenrails.org/viewtopic.php?t=9884

Even if you never build a live steamer, the book is still an interesting read and you can dream........ :study:

Graeme

Thanks for the heads up Graeme. Ordered, not that I will ever build one, but a friend is slowly working towards completing one.👍🏻

I dream all right.
Miles-- Trains are fun. With the exception of track power. Argh!
