In the attached picture of Britomart On the rear cab sheet there is a curved line of rivets just under the roof line.
Then below that, there appears to be another line of about half a dozen rivets.
However, if you look inside the cab at the inside of the cab front, there is a row of holes which appear to be a match for the rivets on the back sheet. So does the back sheet have rivets or holes?

My only guess would be to let smoke / steam / heat out on colder days where you don't want the port holes open, but it is just a random guess. Not sure why you would do that on an open door cab, but I am sure they were there for a good reason
