Early editions of 16mm Today magazines

Post by Peter Butler » Mon Feb 12, 2024 3:26 pm

For sale.... a small collection of eight, early editions, 16mm Today magazines from February 1995 to February 1997. Numbers 71 to 79 (minus No. 76 unfortunately).
These are in used condition but clean and intact. An interesting insight into garden railway modelling of that period. They contain lots of black and white photographs of many early steam locomotives, scale drawings, layout diagrams and interesting articles. Only the front and rear covers are in colour.

The pages of trade advertisements are also interesting, particularly the prices of items available.
I am selling these in order to raise funds to support the Forum going forward.
A suggested price for all eight is just £16.00, (plus postage at cost, £3.49). Some similar magazines are available on-line at around £3.50 ea. (plus post!)
They will be quite heavy to post abroad so may not be a suitable purchase.

Note:
Steve has set up this method of raising funds for the Forum and all money raised is visible on-screen to members and accounted for on receipt.

C'mon guys, your Forum needs you!
These magazines are nearly thirty years old and still in good condition. Certainly too good to throw away. They are interesting historical documents of early days of 16mm modelling and well worth reading.
Will someone please offer £10.00 and I will pay the postage. Payment can be made direct to the Forum and I can get notification for despatch.

I'm delighted to say the magazines are now sold and a generous sum donated to the Forum by the purchaser.... thank you.
